Why are the prices in Khao Lak, Krabi, or Koh Lanta higher than in Phuket?
Fotorod is based in Phuket. For photoshoot services in Khao Lak, Krabi, or Koh Lanta, there are additional travel expenses involved, including transportation, fuel, possible accommodation, and travel time.
Because of these extra costs and time commitment, the package price outside Phuket is slightly higher than sessions within Phuket.

Why is Khao Lak priced higher than Phuket?
Fotorod is based in Phuket. A photoshoot in Khao Lak requires approximately 2.5 hours of travel by car from Phuket (depending on traffic conditions).
Due to the long travel time, fuel costs, and transportation expenses, there is an additional charge for sessions outside Phuket. This also includes the photographer’s time spent traveling to ensure everything is ready for your special day.

Why is Krabi (Ao Nang) priced higher than Phuket?
Fotorod is based in Phuket. A photoshoot in Ao Nang, Krabi requires long-distance travel from Phuket, including car transfer and sometimes boat transportation, depending on the location.
Because of the extended travel time, fuel costs, transportation fees, and possible accommodation, there are additional expenses involved. This is why the session price in Krabi (Ao Nang) is slightly higher than in Phuket.

5. Do you offer printed albums or photo books?
At this time, our standard packages include digital, high-resolution images. However, if you’d like a printed album, canvas, or framed photo, we can connect you with trusted local printing services for high-quality results.
6. Can I book last minute, or do I need to plan in advance?
It’s best to book in advance to secure your preferred date and time. However, we do accept last-minute bookings based on availability. Simply contact us directly via WhatsApp for the fastest response.
7. Can I book a surprise proposal photoshoot?
Absolutely! We specialize in discreet proposal photography. We’ll help you plan the setup, suggest locations, and capture the exact moment she says “yes.” Our goal is to make it magical, natural, and unforgettable.
8. Do you offer discounts or special rates?
Our pricing is already designed to be competitive and transparent. We believe in fair value for every client, so discounts are not typically offered. The rates displayed on our website reflect our experience and quality.

9. What should we wear for the photoshoot?
Light, neutral, or pastel colors work beautifully against Thailand’s beaches and scenery. Flowing dresses, casual smart wear, and barefoot styles look great. We suggest avoiding heavy logos or very loud patterns. Styling tips are available if needed.
10. Do you provide dresses or outfit rentals?
Yes, we offer dress rentals for photoshoots upon request. Flowing gowns are particularly popular for beach and sunset sessions. Please inform us in advance so we can prepare suitable options tailored to your preferred style and size.
11. Can I bring personal props to the shoot?

12. Do you provide hair and makeup services?
We don’t provide in-house hair and makeup, but we can recommend trusted local stylists. Many of our clients book a professional makeup artist to ensure they look polished and confident throughout the entire shoot.

15. Can pets join our photoshoot?

During the Photoshoot
16. How long does a typical session last?
Our sessions range from 30 minutes for mini shoots to 3 hours for deluxe packages. The duration depends on your package choice, the number of locations, and the style of photography you’d like us to capture.
17. Do you guide us with posing?
Yes! Our photographers provide easy guidance throughout your session to ensure natural, flattering, and relaxed poses. Even if it’s your first professional shoot, we’ll help you feel confident, comfortable, and enjoy the experience.
18. What happens if we arrive late?
We allow a 15-minute grace period. Beyond that, your session time may be reduced, especially if we have back-to-back bookings. We recommend arriving early so you can relax and start on time.
19. Can we shoot at multiple locations?
Yes, depending on your chosen package. Deluxe sessions often allow for 2–3 locations within a reasonable distance. This lets you capture a variety of settings, from beaches to viewpoints, for a complete photoshoot experience.
20. Do you suggest locations, or can I choose?
Both! We know the best beaches, viewpoints, and hidden gems in Phuket, Krabi, and Khao Lak. Once booked, we’ll recommend spots based on your hotel location and preferences—or happily follow your chosen destination.
Weather & Rescheduling
21. What happens if the weather is bad?
We closely monitor forecasts. If it rains, we can adjust the session time or reschedule to another day. Cloudy skies are actually great for soft, romantic photos, so light weather changes don’t usually affect results.
22. Can I reschedule my shoot?
Yes! We allow one free reschedule with at least 24-hour notice. If you need to change again or on short notice, additional fees may apply due to scheduling adjustments. Flexibility depends on our availability.
23. Do you charge cancellation fees?
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session may result in a forfeited deposit. This helps us cover preparation costs and lost opportunities. We recommend contacting us early if you anticipate a schedule change.
Delivery & Editing
24. When will I receive my photos?
Edited high-resolution images are usually delivered within 5–7 days via a private online gallery. If you need them sooner, express editing is available for an additional fee. We’ll confirm timelines at booking.
25. How many photos do I get?
The number of images depends on your chosen package. Rest assured, you’ll receive plenty of beautifully edited photos. We don’t limit you unnecessarily; our goal is to provide a full collection worth treasuring.
26. Do you deliver RAW files?
Our standard delivery includes only edited, high-resolution images. However, RAW files are available upon request for an additional fee. Most clients prefer edited photos, which are carefully processed to match our professional style.
27. Can I request extra editing?
Yes! Basic retouching is included in every package. If you’d like more advanced edits such as body adjustments or special effects, we can provide them for an additional cost based on complexity.
28. Can I get my photos on an SD card or USB?
Yes, we can deliver your final images on a 64GB SD card or USB for 1,000 THB. Please let us know at least 3 days in advance so we can prepare it for you.
Payment & Policies
29. How do I make payment?
We accept PayPal, Wise, Western Union, Thai bank transfer, and cash. A deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of the photoshoot. Payment details will be confirmed during booking.
30. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to confirm your booking and reserve your date. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the shoot. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours.
31. Do you charge travel fees?
Most sessions in Phuket, Krabi, and Khao Lak are included at no extra charge. However, travel fees may apply for remote islands or locations outside standard service areas. We’ll confirm costs in advance.

32. Can you plan a romantic setup for proposals?
Yes! We’re happy to suggest romantic setups like beach picnics, flower decorations, or candlelight arrangements. Working with trusted partners, we can help you organize the perfect surprise proposal setting for your photoshoot.
33. Do you shoot events or parties?
Yes, in addition to portraits and couple sessions, we also cover birthdays, anniversaries, and small events. If you’re planning a private party in Phuket or Krabi, we can capture the highlights and atmosphere beautifully.
34. Do you work with hotels or resorts?
Yes! We regularly collaborate with resorts and villas. If you’re staying at a hotel, we can arrange a photoshoot on their grounds or nearby scenic spots, depending on property guidelines and permissions.
35. Do you travel to other locations in Thailand?
While Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak, Phi Phi, and Koh Lanta are our main areas, we can travel across Thailand for special requests. Additional travel costs may apply depending on distance and logistics.
